Game Studios

Let’s start with the once who make the games. They are called Game Studios or Game providers. They design, make, and distribute the games to Online Casinos. So, the Casinos have nothing to do with how the actual game works or pays out. This is called RTP (Return to Player). This is nearly always over 95% and can go as high as 98.00% – 98.98%, there are some games with higher RTP, but as said… there are only a few like this.

What is RTP?

N1 Casino review

All Online Casinos we have listed have a minimum Return To Player (RTP) of 95.00% and as all casinos are regulated by correct authorities, they are all legit and pay the players that they deserve. So, playing in Casinos listed by us is safe and fun!

The RTP percentage is a measure of the percentage of winnings a game returns to players (generally over a minimum of one million rounds), this is a generally accepted guide to how a game will perform.

The games will generally perform to the RTP as stated in the applicable Game Rules. Slot machines have an RNG generator (Random Number Generator), which makes sure that the Game provider or the Casino cannot manipulate the outcome.

The Studios also make sure that the games are legit and work correctly and according to the correct GNG formula. What is RNG? We will talk about that in a bit just below here.

Live Games

As the name already tells you, these games are played with a Live dealer or Croupier. These games are very popular in Canada and all over the world. This gives the “Real Feel” of being in a real land-based Casino. Also, games are a bit more interesting. (At least we like playing them) and YES – We do play on many of the Casinos listed on our sites and others too 😉

Table Games

The king of Table Games, Roulette. This superior game has its roots in France when the Roulette wheel was invented in 1720. The game has been played in its present form since as early as 1796 in Paris. An early description of the roulette game in its current form is found in a French novel La Roulette, “ou le Jour by Jaques Lablee”, which describes a roulette wheel in the Palais Royal in Paris in 1796. The description included the house pockets, “There are exactly two slots reserved for the bank, whence it derives its sole mathematical advantage.” It then goes on to describe the layout with, “…two betting spaces containing the bank’s two numbers, zero and double zero”.

The book was published in 1801. An even earlier reference to a game of this name was published in regulations for New France (Québec) in 1758, which banned the games of “dice, hoca, faro, and roulette”. Roulette has been played since the late 1790s and then it had the single ZERO and black for the double zero, to avoid confusion for players. The green colour was added in the 1800s. This made it easier for players.

There are several versions of the game these days.

Slot Machines

Now as there are so many different types of Slots. 3×3, 4×4. 5×5 and then there are the 3D Slots. These are replicas of the real “One Arm Bandits” that you can see in a real Land-based Casino. Instead of having to pull the lever, you can choose to either spin by pressing the SPACE bar or then you can choose “Auto Spins”. This means that you chose your bet, then how many spins you want to do and then everything is done for you and you can just enjoy and wait for the wins to come.

TV-Show Based games

What are TV-Show based games?

They are live games that are played with a real person hosting the game. These are Live Games, that are made from real TV-Shows, that have been a sensation around the world. The best examples are Deal or No Deal, Dream Catcher, Monopoly Live, Mega Ball and of course, Crazy Time.

Blackjack

The undefeated king of Poker. Blackjack, formerly also Black Jack and Vingt-Un, is the American member of a global family of banking games known as “Twenty-One”, whose relatives include the British game of “Pontoon” and the European game. The idea is to compare cards between one or more players and a dealer, where each player on his turn competes against the dealer. Players never compete against each other. It is played with one or more decks of 52 cards and is the most widely played casino banking game in the world, mostly known from Land-based casinos where it then later landed on Online Casinos.

Rules

Players are each dealt two cards, face up or down depending on the casino and the table. In the U.S., the dealer is also dealt two cards, normally one up (exposed) and one down (hidden). In most other countries, the dealer only receives one card face up. The value of cards two through ten is their pip value (2 through 10). Face cards (Jack, Queen, and King) are all worth ten. Aces can be worth one or eleven. A hand’s value is the sum of the card values.

Players are allowed to draw additional cards to improve their hands. A hand with an ace valued as 11 is called “soft”, meaning that the hand will not bust by taking an additional card. The value of the ace will become one to prevent the hand from exceeding 21. (What you need to win)

Once all the players have completed their hands, it is the dealer’s turn. The dealer hand will not be completed if all players have either busted or received blackjack. The dealer then reveals the hidden card and must hit until the cards total up to 17 points. At 17 points or higher the dealer must stay. You are betting that you have a better hand than the dealer. The better hand is the hand where the sum of the card values is closer to 21 without exceeding 21.

The detailed outcome of the hand follows:

  • If the player is dealt an Ace and a ten-value card (called a “blackjack” or “natural“), and the dealer does not, the player wins and usually receives the extra bonus.
  • If the player exceeds a sum of 21 (“busts“), the player loses, even if the dealer also exceeds 21.
  • If the dealer exceeds 21 (“busts“) and the player does not, the player wins always!
  • If the player attains a final sum higher than the dealer and does not bust, the player wins again, it does not matter if it is one number or several numbers higher, as long as it does not go over 21.
  • If both dealer and player receive a blackjack or any other hands with the same sum called a “push“, no one wins, as it considered as a draw.

Blackjack has over 100 rule variations. Since the 1960s, blackjack has been a high-profile target of advantage players, particularly card counters, (We do not recommend this) who track the profile of cards that have been dealt and adapt their wagers and playing strategies accordingly. In response, casinos have introduced counter-measures that can increase the difficulty of advantage play and this can mean that the Casino confiscates all your winnings or the ones that were won with “fraud play”.

Roulette

Roulette is a casino game named after the French word meaning little wheel. In the game the players can choose to place bets on either a single number, various groupings of numbers, the colours red or black, whether the number is odd or even, or if the numbers are high (19–36) or low (1–18).

To determine the winning number, a Croupier spins a wheel in one direction and then spins a ball into the opposite direction around a tilted circular track running around the outer upper edge of the wheel. The ball eventually loses its momentum and then passes through an area of deflectors and falls onto the wheel and into one of 37 (single zero French/European style roulette) or 38 (double zero American style roulette) coloured and numbered pockets on the wheel. The winnings are then paid to anyone who has placed a successful bet on the corresponding number.

The first form of roulette was devised in the 18th century France. Many historians believe Blaise Pascal introduced a primitive form of roulette in the 17th century in his search for a perpetual motion machine. The roulette mechanism was and still is a hybrid of a gaming wheel invented in 1720 and the Italian game Biribi. There has been no changes to the game since.

Slots

A Slot Machine (American English), known variously as a Fruit Machine (British English), puggy in (Scottish English), the slots (Canadian English and American English), poker machine/pokies (Australian English and New Zealand English)

It is a gambling machine that creates a games of chance for its customers. The slot machines are also known “pejoratively” or as “one-armed bandits” because of the large mechanical levers affixed to the sides of early mechanical machines and the games’ ability to empty players’ pockets and wallets as thieves would. Some are on the right, some on the left. We know players who will not play machines that have the “arm” on the wrong side.

A slot machine’s standard layout features a screen displaying three or more reels that “spin” when the game is activated. Some modern slot machines still include a lever as a skeuomorphic design trait to trigger play. However, the mechanics of early machines have been superseded by the “RNG” or the Random Number Generators, and most are now operated using buttons and touchscreens.

Slot machines can include one or more currency’s that are detectors that validate the form of payment, whether you hit a coin, cash, voucher, or token. The machine pays out according to the pattern of symbols displayed when the reels stop “spinning”. Slot machines are the most popular gambling method in casinos and constitute about 70% of the average Casino income, this includes both online casinos and land-based casinos.

Texas Holdem

Texas hold ’em (also known as Texas holdem, hold ’em, and holdem) is one of the most played card games that are played in groups of people and the popular variants of the card game of poker. Two cards, known as hole cards, are dealt face down to each player, and then five community cards are dealt face up in three stages.
The stages consist of a series of three cards (“the flop“), later an additional single card (“the turn” or “fourth street“), and a final card (“the river” or “fifth street“). Each player seeks to get the best five card hand from any combination of the seven cards: the five community cards and their two-hole cards. Players have betting options to check, call, raise, or fold. (Do not go all in with a A & 4) Rounds of betting take place before the flop is dealt and after each subsequent hand. The player who has the best hand and has not folded by the end of all betting rounds wins all of the money bet for the hand, known as the pot. There can be situations when there is a “split-pot” or “tie” and this can occur when two players have hands of equivalent value. This is also called a “chop-pot“.

Texas hold ’em, as in all variants of Poker, individuals compete for an amount of money or chips contributed by the players themselves (that is called the pot). Because the cards are dealt randomly and outside the control of the players, each player attempts to control the amount of money in the pot based either on the hand they are holding or they try to “Bluff” that means that you show the other players a expression or facial expression that you have the winning hand. (Basically, you make the other players think that they have no chance)

The game is divided into a series of hands (deals); at the end of each hand, the pot is typically awarded to one player (with the exception in which the pot is divided between two or more players). A hand can end up at a showdown, in which case the remaining players compare their hands and the highest hand is awarded the pot; that highest hand is usually held by only one player, but can be held by more than one player.

The objective of winning the other players is not to win every individual hand, but to make mathematically and psychologically better decisions regarding when and how much to bet, raise, call or fold (This is called Bluffing).

RNG and what is that?

RNG is an abbreviation of Random Number Generator. This is made to make sure that the Casinos or the Game studios cannot temper the games to make sure that the payer will not win or if they do, then they will get several small winnings all the time, but no Bigger wins that actually is the thing that makes playing interesting.

A random number generator (RNG) is an algorithm that produces random numbers. In video games, these random numbers are used to determine random events, like your chance at landing a critical hit or picking up a rare item.

Random number generation, or RNG, is a defining factor in many modern games. They’re the reason why you always meet a unique Pokémon, why items in Mario Kart are different each time you pick them up, and why you randomly find super cool treasure (or not) in Diablo. Some procedurally-generated games, like The Binding of Issac or Minecraft, wouldn’t even be possible without RNG.

Not every game depends on RNG. Rhythm games like Dance Dance Revolution or Guitar Hero are a great example. Competitive multiplayer games like Rocket League and Mortal Kombat are practically devoid of randomness. But enough of random numbers and generators, let´s pick a casino for you to play on!
