In crash games like JetX and Aviator, a multiplier rises from the start of each round and you must cash out before the round ends. Cash out in time and your stake is multiplied; wait too long and the bet is lost.
The rising multiplier
The core mechanic is simple. Each round, a multiplier starts climbing, and at a random moment the round ends. The key decisions are how much to stake and at which multiplier to cash out.
A higher cash-out target pays more but is reached less often. There is no way to predict when a round will end, and the house edge applies to every round, however you time your cash-outs.
JetX and Aviator
JetX is made by SmartSoft Gaming, which says it launched the game in 2018. The multiplier is set randomly by a random number generator, and it keeps rising until the jet on screen explodes. Players can place two independent bets per round, for example cashing one out early and letting the other run, and can set an auto cash-out at a chosen multiplier.
The RTP of JetX, the share of all stakes paid back as winnings over a very long period, ranges from 96.2 percent to 98.9 percent depending on how the casino configures it. The same game can therefore pay back differently from one casino to another, so check the figure in the game's information screen.
Aviator is made by Spribe. The multiplier rises from 1.00x until the plane flies away, and the player must cash out before that happens.
Playing sensibly
Auto cash-out is useful because rounds are fast and decisions are made in seconds. Setting it before the round starts takes the impulse out of the moment.
Treat any cash-out target as a way to manage risk, not a way to win. Every round is random, a long run of low multipliers does not make a high one more likely, and no system beats the house edge.
