iGaming operators are expanding their traffic sources and multiplying niche betting pages, following a strategic shift from acquisition to retention-focused growth. Prediction markets using yes/no mechanics and thematic verticals are attracting content-led traffic and addressing the retention gap that operators foresee as broad paid acquisition becomes less effective.
Simple Prediction Markets, with Straightforward Yes/No Betting, Enable Content Segmentation
Prediction markets transform content into actionable betting outcomes, providing iGaming sites with a vertical to engage users beyond traditional gamblers. "Prediction markets attract traffic from political, financial, and entertainment spaces where content sparks debate," says an N1 Partners marketing executive. "The simple yes/no format requires minimal user education."
The ASO campaign for N1 Bet attracted 693 first-time depositors with a 112% ROI. N1 Partners ran an app store optimization campaign in 2026 for its subsidiary N1 Bet. The three-month initiative generated 693 new depositors at a cost per acquisition of €180, while total deposit volume quadrupled. The team focused on optimizing for prediction market-related searches, with politics proving particularly successful.

The Makebbery Campaign's Success in Hungary through Creator-led Streams
A separate growth initiative in Hungary demonstrates the niche vertical strategy's potential. The geo-targeted campaign leveraged live-stream promotion on KICK and Twitch through local influencers. Without using Facebook ads or PPC, the operation generated 9,400 registrations and 24,000 deposits over two years. From March to June 2026, organic traffic grew from 25% to 70% of users without additional ad spend, delivering $472K in net gaming revenue from stream-generated content.
For iGaming operators, this signals that niche betting pages with content-rich verticals will become increasingly vital to compensate for diminishing returns from broad paid acquisition. While still relevant, traditional acquisition methods will likely be supplemented by more specialized content pages. Prediction markets, story-driven sports betting targeting underserved demographics, and themed casino content are poised for growth in 2027 as the industry seeks alternatives to declining PPC effectiveness.
