Gembly Expands Free-Play Card/Dice Game Rewards, Emphasizes Churn-Based Prizes

Updated

02 October 2026

The free-to-play prize platform Gembly is expanding its business model by spotlighting card and dice games while doubling down on a ticket-based reward system it says creates a "compelling loop between play and reward."

Currently featured game titles on Gembly include 5Dice Duel, Dr. 5Dice, Pyramid Solitaire 2, Sunset Solitaire 2, and Hot Air Solitaire – all of which evoke high-volume, casual play. And the Gembly community page displays "hot jackpots," "top players" and "recently released games," emphasizing card and dice play. At the center of Gembly is 21 Blitz, a strategic card game it says shares rules with Black Jack and aims to help players build to 21 quickly.

On Gembly, the company says, users collect a free play ticket after each game regardless of their performance. Tickets are earned in "challenge, jackpot, or tournament" sessions, according to the company – win or lose, players collect an entry. Those entries, Gembly says, can be used to enter lotteries for a chance at a prize.

However, some prize entries require more tickets than others. Gembly says it is up to the player to gamble which prize chances to pursue with their tickets, though larger prizes require higher ticket investments. Prize winners are chosen at random from lottery entrants and are notified via email. To be eligible to enter, a player must have an activated account with a valid email.

Gembly prizes ship to the US, Canada, France, the UK, the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, and Belgium, the company says. And Gembly's site dedicates a page to prizes, appearing to highlight the company does not currently earn revenue from games themselves but instead through ticket rewards.

Analysts predict gaming to be a $400B industry by 2026, with prize games an increasingly relevant subsegment. "This is a new and potentially very lucrative opportunity for social casino-style free-to-play apps," said IDG analyst Nina Chen in a June 2026 note to investors, "As pay-per-game models face intense competition, prize games open up a new monetization strategy."
