How the voucher works

The Neosurf voucher is a printed ticket sold at convenience stores, supermarkets, gas stations, news stands and kiosks. Each one carries a unique 10-digit PIN code. At checkout, you enter this PIN to complete the payment.

This design is about privacy: a voucher payment does not require disclosing personal or banking details to the site you are paying. The trade-off is that a voucher behaves like cash, so keep the PIN private until you use it.

What myNeosurf adds

myNeosurf is a free account that sits on top of the voucher system. It can be topped up with Neosurf vouchers or by bank transfer, and it stores voucher credit so you can spend it later across several payments.

Anyone over 18 can open a myNeosurf account. Identity checks may be required for large transactions, to meet regulatory requirements.

One-off payment or stored balance

There are two paths. The voucher can be used directly at checkout, which is immediate and needs no account. Or you can load it into myNeosurf and spend the balance over time, which is more flexible if a voucher's value does not match what you want to pay.
